This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, reschedules, and refunds work for paid one-to-one consultations booked through readmypast.com with Acharya Anand. By booking and paying for a consultation, you agree to the terms set out below. Please read this page together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Acharya Anand is an independent Vedic astrologer. Paid consultations are interpretive guidance offered for reflection and personal insight. They are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice, and no specific outcome, result, or prediction is promised or guaranteed.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to the paid one-to-one consultations offered on readmypast.com, delivered online by live chat, audio call, or video call, in the following session lengths and prices:

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Refunds, where due under this policy, are made only to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

The free "read your past" reading

The free "read your past" chart reading is genuinely free. No payment is required and no purchase is necessary to receive it. Because nothing is charged for the free reading, there is nothing to refund in connection with it, and this policy does not apply to it.

Cancellations and refunds for paid consultations

Sessions that have already taken place

A consultation that has already been delivered or completed is non-refundable. Once a live session has been provided, the service has been rendered in full and no refund is available for that session.

Sessions that have not yet taken place

If your booked consultation has not yet taken place, you are entitled to a full refund provided that you request the cancellation at least 48 hours (48 hours) before the scheduled start time of your session.

If a cancellation or refund request is made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time, or if you do not attend (a "no-show") a session that proceeds as booked, the session is treated as delivered and is non-refundable. We will, however, always try to find a fair and reasonable solution where genuine difficulties arise.

Reschedules

If you are unable to attend at your booked time, we will do our best to reschedule your consultation to another mutually convenient slot, wherever this is reasonably possible. To give the best chance of accommodating a new time, please send your reschedule request as early as you can, ideally at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Reschedules are offered as a courtesy and depend on availability; they do not change the refund rules set out above.

In the rare event that a scheduled consultation cannot be delivered on our side — for example, due to illness, a technical failure, or other unforeseen circumstances — we will offer you the choice of rescheduling to a new time or receiving a full refund of the amount paid for that session.

How to request a cancellation, reschedule, or refund

To request a cancellation, reschedule, or refund, please contact us using any of the options below and include your name, the email or phone number used for the booking, and your scheduled session date and time:

So that a "before the session" request can be honoured, your request must reach us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. We recommend keeping a copy of your request and any confirmation we send you.

Refund method and timeline

Where a refund is due under this policy, it will be issued to the original payment method used for the booking, processed through Razorpay. Once your refund has been approved, we will initiate it promptly, and the refunded amount will typically be credited within 5 to 7 (5–7) business days.

The exact time for the amount to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider, and is outside our control. Any bank charges, currency-conversion costs, or international transaction fees applied by your provider are not within our control and may affect the final amount you receive.

Eligibility and adult-use note

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Please do not book a consultation or submit another person's birth or life-event details, including a minor's, without their knowledge and, where applicable, verifiable parental or guardian consent.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
